Two chocolate-flavoured Cora products have been withdrawn from sale after they were discovered to contain almonds, which has not been marked on the packaging and could therefore present a threat to those who are allergic.

The products 'Gaufrettes chocolat noisette', 160g, and 'Cookies coeur fondant chocolat au lait et noisettes', 180g, were distributed in Cora stores and possibly through other distribution channels in Luxembourg. Whilst they have now been taken off shelves, a portion of the supply has already been sold, leading the country's food safety authorities to advise members of the public in the Grand Duchy with an almond allergy to avoid consuming the product.

All lot numbers and use-by dates of the 160g Hazelnut Chocolate Wafers (Gaufrettes chocolate noisette) have been compromised, whilst the 180g Soft Milk Chocolate and Hazelnut Core Cookies (Cookies coeur fondant chocolate au lait et noisettes) products with sell-by dates up until 12/2016 have been affected.
