A worker died on Monday afternoon on a building site in Syren.

The incident occurred shortly after 12:00 on rue Wollefshiel. While details of the accident were not revealed, the 55 year-old man from Echternach fell from a height and died of his injuries at the scene of the accident.

The “L'Inspection du travail et des mines” (ITM) was informed and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident has been ordered by the public prosecutor.
