A car thief was arrested on Wednesday afternoon in Luxembourg City after being found sleeping in the stolen vehicle.
The unidentified man was discovered by a citizen who reported that the suspect in question was sleeping in a Fiat 500 along Route de Thionville with the engine still running. The car had been reported stolen the previous morning.
The offender immediately confessed to the theft, stating that he had been looking for a dry place to sleep. A police report revealed that the man had used the vehicle as a place to inject heroin. He was also not permitted to drive at the time.
The man was arrested and brought before the examining magistrate.
