On Saturday 12 March 2016, Secretary of State for the Economy, Francine Closener, and Minister of Education, Claude Meisch, visited La Belle Étoile shopping centre to call on 37 mini-enterprise stands aiming to attract passing trade.
The initiative was organised by the non-profit organisation Jonk Entrepreneuren as part of the association's array of educational activities aimed at promoting entrepreneurship among young people. To this end, 16-19 year olds installed 37 mini-enterprises at La Belle Étoile and practised their sales techniques by urging passers-by to purchase their goods and services.
Francine Closener and Claude Meisch also stopped by to support and congratulate the young participants for their entrepreneurial spirit.
