On Friday morning, a man was arrested at Findel airport for trying to use a false passport.
The incident happened at around 10:00 when the man was going through immigration control. The police officer on duty noticed that the photograph on the passport was not the original one and had been replaced, resulting in an inconsistency which was noticed as a fake, or false passport.
The man admitted to have purchased the passport abroad at great expense.
The public prosecutor and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were informed, who ordered his arrested.
