The Luxembourg government has announced that, as part of its thinking on security policy and on crisis management in Luxembourg, Guy Schuller, current Director of Service information et presse du gouvernement (SIP), is to be appointed Director of Crisis Communication.
He will be responsible to design, coordinate and ensure crisis communication; thus he will work closely with the High Commission on national protection and all other actors involved in crisis management.
Mr. Schuller also manage the Government Conference Centre at the Château de Senningen.
The next Director of the government's Information and Press Service (SIP) will be appointed after a public call for applications to be launched shortly. The new Director will be in charge of the reform of the SIP, as announced in the government programme of 10 December 2013.
