On Friday afternoon, New Year's Day, three teenagers (out of a total of four) were caught by the police from Capellen spraying graffiti.

They had previous defaced a bus stop, the "Blue Bridge" in Luxembourg city centre and the European School II in Mamer. A total of four teenagers had been observed by witnesses who had contacted the police. By the time the patrol arrived, one teenager had already left the scene.
