Over the week-end of Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 December 2015, a total of 19 burglaries from homes, businesses and vehicles were reported by the Luxembourg police, with another 23 taking place over the previous 24 hours.

These incidents took place across the Grand Duchy, including in Capellen, Rodange, Ettelbruck, Differdange, Filsdorf, Hagen, Mamer, Koerich, Grevenmacher, Schifflange, Niederkorn and Luxembourg city, as well as Soleuvre, Weiswampach, Brouch, Frisange and Belvaux.
