Luxembourg's Ministry of Culture has announced that Paul Lesch has been appointed new director of the National Audiovisual Centre (CNA) in Dudelange.
The appointment was confirmed by the government on Friday. He succeeds Jean Bach who retired from this position earlier this year after 25 years service, and will take up the position on 1 February 2016.
Paul Lesch is a film historian and Doctor of Political and Social Sciences (Communication Sciences). He has vast knowledge in the audiovisual field and through previous activities, and maintains very close ties with the University of Luxembourg, education and other cultural institutes.
