On Friday morning a traffic accident claimed two lives on the CR 335 between Rossmühle and Clervaux.
The accident happened at around 08:15 and involved a van and an articulated car transporter. Following the head-on collision, the van ended up lying on its roof and the car transporter went off the road, with its cab lying in a ditch at a 30 degree angle. Both occupants of the van were declared dead at the scene of the accident by emergency services personnel who arrived at the scene a short while after the collision. The driver of the car transporter received minor injuries.
The road is expected to remain closed to traffic in both directions until around 17:00 this evening (Friday).
