The Grand Ducal Police have called on members of the public for help in identifying a man wanted in connection with a summer credit card fraud case.
On 13 July 2015, a man used his bank card to pay for food at the Quick fast food restaurant in the Auchan shopping centre in Kirchberg. Two days later the man in question discovered that he was no longer in possession of his card and upon attempting to block the card he was informed that a sum of money had twice been withdrawn from an ATM inside Utopolis cinema with the use of the card.
The man caught on security footage is suspected by police to have withdrawn the money using the stolen bank card, and the police are now appealing to the public for information on his identity. Those with relevant information can contact the emergency line on 113.
