On 16 September 2015, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Internal Security Étienne Schneider held the swearing-in ceremony of Jennifer Heuschling to the position of psychologist in the administrative and technical framework of the Grand Ducal Police.
The 28-year-old newly-appointed psychologist studied at the universities of Luxembourg and Basel and holds a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and a Masters in Clinical Psychology and Neuroscience.
Jennifer joins the Psychological Service team in charge of the psychological assessment in the recruitment process of police personnel. In addition, the Service is involved in the basic and continued psychological training of the staff, as well as staff management following potentially traumatic incidents.
