Luxembourg Minister for Sustainable Development and Infrastructure François Bausch is currently in Brussels, where he is due to participate in the official launch of the European Mobility Week today, 16 September 2015.

Minister Bausch arrived in Brussels to engage in a meeting yesterday afternoon with Commissioner Violeta Bulc and Dutch Secretary of State, Wilma Mansveld for a discussion of the progress of the fourth railway package ahead of the Council of Ministers of Transport to be held in Kirchberg on 8 October 2015.

Today, François Bausch will join Commissioner Bulc as well as Chairman of the Transport Committee at the European Parliament, Michael Cramer; Chair of the European Parliament's Committee on Transport and Tourism, Pascal Smet; and Bruseels Capital Region's Minister for Mobility, to officially launch European Mobility Week.

The launch represents a free event at which participants will embark on a guided bicycle tour of the European Institutions and attend workshops on the promotion of cycle commuting and the integration of cycling into multimodal travel, which will be moderated by European Green MEPs.
