On Saturday 19 September 2015, the Comité Directeur pour le Souvenir de la Résistance and Amicale Hinzert will be commemorating victims of World War II and the members of Luxembourgish resistance parties who fought against the Nazi occupation of the Grand Duchy.
At 14:00, Abbot Patrick Müller will lead a mass service at the chapel, with the Basbellain-Hautbellain choir conducted by Charel Geiben. This will be followed at 15:30 by a ceremony at the Dokumentatiouns-Center, where Prime Minister Xavier Bettel will speak.
The event will follow the National Memorial Day on 30 August 2015, which honoured the memories of the victims of forced Nazi conscription.
