A rally will be held at 18:00 today in Luxembourg-Kirchberg to appeal to raise public awareness of the refugee situation in Europe in the hopes of developing potential solutions to the problem.

The event was organised by an anonymous citizen who stated that they were unable to continue observing the treatment received by refugees in certain Member States of the European Union. According to the individual, this human challenge represents that greatest since the end of Wolrd War II, and requires an intelligent and humane approach to avoid becoming a source of shame for current and future generations.

The gathering will take place at 18:00 at Place de l'Europe, where the crowd will be addressed by human rights activist Manoque Dabé and Serge Kollwelter.
