On Monday 13 July 2015, Minister of the Interior, Dan Kersch and Administrative Director of Emergency Services, Michel Feider, will present the official commissioning of six vehicles of the Emergency Medical Assistance Service (SAMU) at the Grand Théâtre in Luxembourg city.

The presentation will take place in the presence of the actors of SAMU, including doctors and nurses specialised in anesthesia and intensive care, civil protection managers, professional firefighters of the City of Luxembourg and many guests of the medical world.

According to the Ministry of the Interior, the acquired equipment is highly efficient and at the cutting edge of current technology. The price of a SAMU vehicle amounts to €230,000. The cost for the six vehicles to be delivered amounts to more than €1.38 million and marks the 25th anniversary of SAMU.
