This afternoon, the Place d'Armes and adjacent streets in Luxembourg's pedestrian zone in the city centre will be the location of a large European Pic-Nic to celebrate the start of the Luxebourg Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
From 16:00 to midnight, the Place d'Armes and neighbouring streets will have food and drink, musical entertainment and late-night shopping, a European quiz and more. The official launch will be at 18:30 and an "Indoor-Outdoor" exhibition will be unveiled oin the Place du Theatre.
