The Service des Parcs de la Ville de Luxembourg has announced it is looking for Christmas trees for the winter period.

The City of Luxembourg wished to inform the public that the Service des Parcs is seeking 23 Christmas trees to decorate the capital with during Christmastime.

People who have an available tree of ten to twenty metres, who have no use for it because of its height, are invited to contact the Service until mid-October 2015.

The tree must have the right dimensions, in density and symmetry, and should not be surrounded by other trees. The Service des Parcs has stated it will arrange the cutting and transport of the tree from early November.

The trees will then by placed in various locations around the capital, such as Place d'Armes, Place de France and the Gare district, to create an atmosphere of warmth in the city during the Christmas holiday season.
