On 24 June 2015, the Board of Administration at the 'Centres, Foyers et Services pour Personnes Agées' (SERVIOR) association handed control of the public institution to new members.
In the presence of the Ministre de la Famille et de l'Intégration, Corinne Cahen, parting members Serge Eberhard, Pierre Jaeger and Serge Hoffman were thanked for the pioneering work they contributed to the association, and their hand in its creation and development.
Their successors, newly-elected President Héloise Bock and recent members Dan Theisen and Marc Vanolst, were welcomed to SERVIOR. The appointment of the new Board of Directors by the Conseil du Gouvernement was recorded by Grand-Ducal Decree on 31 May 2015.
SERVIOR is Luxembourg's largest provider of residential facilities for the elderly, employing nearly seventeen thousand members of staff and managing accommodation with a 1600-person capacity. The company also offers support services for the elderly living alone, such as meals on wheels, discovery days and holidays retreats.
