On Saturday 8 March 2025, Konschthaus Op Der Gare gallery in Clervaux welcomed guests to the opening of a multi-artist exhibition entitled “Tours & Detours”.
Konschthaus Op Der Gare is a multi-purpose venue known for providing a platform for both established and upcoming artists from local, European and international scenes. Its latest exhibition “Tours & Detours” features a variety of works from Swiss artist Markus Seller and French artists Éric Meyer and Christian Mourey.
Multiple pieces from each artist are tastefully spread out across two of the building’s floors, giving time and space for visitors to take in the variety of works on display. The pieces included as part of this exhibition embrace themes of pareidolia (the tendency to see faces and other meaningful shapes in random places), tribal art and abstract graphic form and utilise a variety of mediums, including acrylics, ink, watercolour, spray paint and pencil.
Throughout the event, each artist took time to guide attendees around the various rooms, explaining their ideas, process and influences; creating a friendly and welcoming atmosphere in which attendees could digest and discuss the art on display.
The hosts provided a variety of food and drinks in the venue’s communal area with a relaxed “meet and greet" session with the artists taking place throughout the evening.
The exhibition runs from Saturday 8 through to Saturday 29 March 2025, with the venue welcoming visitors from Thursday to Saturday from 14:00 to 19:00 or by appointment.
