On Saturday 11 January 2025, Konschthaus Op Der Gare gallery in Clervaux opened its doors to the public for the opening night of an exhibition featuring Belgian-based artists Eric Legrain, Aurélie Mazaudier, June Monestra and Sabine Rixen.
The popular multi-gallery venue in northern Luxembourg is well known for providing the opportunity for art aficionados to digest and discuss works from upcoming and established local artists, as well as those from the wider european and international scenes, and for the its first event of the new season Konschthaus Op Der Gare invited the public to a display of vibrant modern art displayed across its impressive multi-floored venue.
The mix of abstract paintings, ink-based illustrations, dynamic collages and pencil works drew in an excited and curious crowd of visitors throughout the course of the evening, with the distinct layout of the building providing a warm and vibrant atmosphere for those who had braved the cold.
A variety of food and drinks were provided by the hosts and many gathered in the venue’s communal area after touring the galleries to partake in a relaxed "meet and greet" session with the artists.
The exhibition runs from Saturday 11 through to Saturday 25 January 2025, with the venue welcoming visitors from Wednesday to Saturday from 14:00 to 19:00 or by appointment.
