Rotondes has announced that the Young Art Triennale (Triennale Jeune Création) is returning to Luxembourg with a 5th edition this summer.

Conceived as a platform for young emerging artists, the Triennale strives to support contemporary artistic creation in Luxembourg and the Greater Region.

For this anniversary edition, Rotondes has teamed up with Casino Luxembourg – Forum d’art contemporain. The theme is “Brave New World Order,” as suggested by Kevin Muhlen, curator of the exhibition and director of Casino Luxembourg. It gives millenials the possibility to express how they perceive today’s society and the future.

The Triennale will run from 2 July to 29 August 2021 at the Rotondes Gallery in Luxembourg-Bonnevoie. The exhibition will be open to the public on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 13:00 to 19:00 and on Thursdays from 13:00 to 21:00; it will be closed on Tuesdays. Entry is free.

26 female and seventeen male artists were selected from a total of 113 proposals received for this year's exhibition. Seventeen of the chosen artists are from Luxembourg, 23 are from France, two are from Germany and one is from Belgium.

In addition to the exhibition itself, the 43 selected artists and collectives will exchange ideas and share the stages of their work via a new digital platform: bravenewworldorder.lu
