ING Luxembourg has donated a painting by Joachim van der Vlugt to the National Library of Luxembourg (more widely known by its French abbreviation BnL).

The official presentation of the donation took place last Wednesday 1 July 2020 in the presence of Colette Dierick, CEO of ING Luxembourg, Joachim Van der Vlugt and Monique Kieffer, outgoing director of the BnL.

Joachim van der Vlugt is an artist of Dutch origin living and working in Luxembourg. His artwork, an oil on canvas entitled "Landfall 1", now hangs on the wall of the reading room on the ground floor of the BnL.

The BnL thanked ING Luxembourg for this gesture for the promotion of the arts and culture in Luxembourg.
