Neumünster Abbey has announced two exhibitions being held on its site from this week on: ""Particles" by German-born, Luxembourg-based photographer Boris Loder and Inside Out" by Luxembourg artist Max Dauphin.

The "Particles" exhibition, featuring the works of Boris Loder, will run from 21 June to 8 September 2019 at the Lucien Wecollier Cloister at Neumünster Abbey. With "Particles", Boris Loder exhibits photographs of objects in compressed form. The idea is simple: to compress in a work the spirit of a place by collecting the objects which are there. The process allows Boris Loder to put into perspective the socio-geographical identities that make up Luxembourg by exploring the clichés related to these places. In addition to his sociological ambition, his project has an ecological stake since a lot of waste is recovered during this artistic performance.

Meanwhile, the "Inside Out" exhibition, featuring the works of Max Dauphin, will run from 30 June to 1 September 2019 in the vaulted rooms of Neumünster Abbey. Max Dauphin mixes techniques and formats. The exhibition, chosen among the residents of the Bamhaus collective, is inspired by the theories of philosopher Carl Jung. The title refers directly to introspection, the act of looking within oneself. The exhibition will be open to the public from 30 June and exceptionally open to participants of the Siren's Call Festival on 29 June 2019.

Both exhibitions will run daily from 11:00 to 18:00.
