On Wednesday 4 November 2015, HRH the Hereditary Grand Duchess visited the Musée Dräi Eechelen as part of a guided tour of the exhbiition 'Les Frontières de l'Indépendance - Le Luxembourg entre 1815 et 1839'.

The visit was organised at the initiative of 'Amis des Musées d'Art et d'Histoire Luxembourg', which the Hereditary Grand Duchess has been a patron since March 2013.

The Hereditary Grand Duchess was welcomed by François Reinert, delegate curator of the Musée Dräi Eechelen and Florence Reckinger, rceently appointed President of Amis des Musées. Her Royal Highness was then joined by a select few members of Amis des Musées as she explored the exhibition featuring objects illustrating Luxembourg's acquisition of its current borders and finally its independence.

HRH the Hereditary Duchess welcomed the significant amount of loaned national and international pieces granted to the exhibition.
