On 27 October 2015, the Valentiny Foundation opened its new exhibition at the KPMG Luxembourg premises in Kirchberg, consisting of around 36 bronze sculptures by architect Valentiny.
The exhibition was specially dedicated to one of the most recent collections of François Valentiny, allowing the visitor to view impressive bronze sculptures created by the artist in the last few years.
"This is ot the first time that KPMG is supporting creative projects and community art," commented Georges Bock, Managing Partner of KPMG. "After leaving our palissades to be tagged by young street artists, Sader and Yvlo77, during the construction of our building; besides this graffiti adorning our company car park today, we recently sponsored the friendly robot Guido who caused a sensation at the Mudam during the 'Eppur si muove' exhibition. This little robot welcomed and guided visitors on their tour by giving humourous comments on the works of art on display. It is with great pleasure that we receive François Valentiny, the architect of our iconic 39JFK headquarters, to return here to exhibit a different side of his work and his creativity".
The art market is a market which has grown in Luxembourg in recent years, with many initiatives developed for this new type of lucrative investment since the opening of Freeport. More and more investors and art collectors are considering this opportunity and seeking advice on tax and transactional matters.
