Do you like to paint or to spray graffiti and have a chance to win a prize for doing it? Streff has announced a competition where the winners will receive: 1st place: €1,500; 2nd place: €1,000; 3rd place: €500.
For each artist, STREFF will provide the outside wall of a 20-foot steel container with a surface of 6m (length) x 2,5m (height) to be transformed into a piece of art.
The competition will take place during an Open-door day on 19 September 2015 in Windhof, Luxembourg. You will be painting/spraying the outside wall of a 6m (length) x 2,5m (height) 20 foot steel container, while people are walking around and looking over your shoulder. The theme of the competition is: “Imagine what’s inside”!
Those interested should send an application, including a first sketch of your idea plus a little portfolio of your best 5 artworks, by email: maximilian.chorus@streff.lu, provided you can be present at the date of the competition and the week before (starting 12 September you will have access to your “canvas” and will have a week to finish your artwork). The application deadline is 15 August 2015.
The best twelve artists will be informed about their selection by 20 August 2015.
