The New World Theathre Club (NWTC) has announced that it is holding open auditions to cast "And go to Innisfree" by Jean Lenox Toddie.

This one act play will be directed by Christine Probst and performed at FEATS 2017 as NWTC's entry. Auditions will be held on Monday 6 February (09:30-14:30) and Tuesday 7 February (09:30-13:30) 2017 at Vedanza Dance Studio (auditions and rehearsals will be held during the day).

Synopsis: It is autumn. An older woman appears on a deserted New England beach. She has come to make a decision, but will she make it alone? The middle-aged matron she was argues her case for the comfort of a retirement home. The younger girl she was urges her to sit again and eat blueberries and study ants. What will she do?

Characters:

- Old Anna: (60+)

- Young Anna: (18-25)

- Anna: (35-45)

American accents are not necessary. However, actresses should come with a short, age appropriate monologue (1 min) memorised, and a prepared (memorised) short folk song to sing, no accompaniment necessary.

FEATS will be held in Frankfurt, Germany, from 2-5 June 2017. NWTC will also present the play here in Luxembourg in late May prior to performing at the competition.
