At around 03:15 on Wednesday 5 July 2023, the police were informed that an ATM in Bollendorf (Germany) had been blown up.
According to witnesses, the escape took place on board a black automobile - possibly of the Audi brand - with Luxembourgish identification plates (probably XJ 9692) in the direction of Luxembourg. Witnesses reported there having been three people in the vehicle. As a result, the Grand Ducal Police is currently also searching for the vehicle in Luxembourg.
In this context, the police are looking for witnesses who can provide information about the perpetrators or their escape vehicles. People who have made suspicious observations in this regard last night are requested to pass them on to the police emergency number 113.
