On 4 February 2021, the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), New Delhi and the Centre for Fine Arts (BOZAR) Brussels signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the field of culture.
 
In Brussels, the MoU was signed by Santosh Jha, India's Ambassador to Belgium, Luxembourg and the European Union (EU) on behalf of ICCR, and Paul Dujardin, Chief Executive Officer – Artistic Director of BOZAR. In India, the MoU was signed by Dinesh Patnaik, Director General of ICCR, and François Delhaye, Belgium's Ambassador to India.  
 
The MoU will facilitate better exchange and understanding of Indian art and culture in Belgium and the EU and vice versa. It is aimed at encouraging mutual understanding through cultural, intellectual and artistic exchanges. ICCR and BOZAR will devote special attention to the celebration of the 75th year of India’s Independence, the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of India and the Kingdom of Belgium and the 60th anniversary of India-EU diplomatic relations.
