Miss Luxembourg on her Way to Miss World Pageant in London

Miss Luxembourg 2019, Melanie Heynsbroek departed Luxembourg on Wednesday morning for the 69th edition of the Miss World pageant in London.

Since her election in December 2018, Melanie Heynsbroek has been preparing for the Miss World contest by travelling the world and supporting various causes and charities. She has been described as highly motivated and very committed to positively representing the Grand Duchy during the event.

In her free time, Melanie Heynsbroek practices figure skating. She is in the third year of paramedical studies at the Lycée Technique de Bonnevoie and wants to become a pediatric nurse, using her future fame to help children. Melanie also likes to travel a lot and speaks five languages: Luxembourguish, Russian, German, English and French. 

The 69th edition of the Miss World pageant will be held on Saturday 14 December 2019 at the ExCeL London.
