The Minister of Labour, Employment and the Social and Solidarity Economy, Nicolas Schmit, is on a working visit to London today.
On his UK visit, the Minister is due to meet Lord Freud, Minister of State for Welfare Reform, and Frances O'Grady, Secretary-General of the British Trade Union Confederation (TUC), in order to exchange views on the social situation in Europe.
The Minister will then participate in a tour of the Jobcentre unemployment agency in Southall.
