Luxembourg's Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Jean Asselborn, is travelling to Moscow, Russia, today, Friday 3 July 2015, to meet with his counterpart, Sergey Lavrov, the Foreign Minister of the Russian Federation.
The meeting will allow the two Foreign Ministers to address bilateral relations, addressing issues of common interest between the two countries. They will also discuss relations between the EU and Russia and topics of current international events, including the situation in Ukraine and the state of implementation of the Minsk accords.
Minister Asselborn will also benefit from his working visit to present the programme and priorities of the Luxembourg Presidency of the EU Council.
