The Sofitel Luxembourg Europe in Kirchberg is having a special Sicilian menu at its Oro e Argento Italian restaurant from 9 to 13 November 2016.
This evening, Wednesday 9 November at 19:00, the atrium in the hotel will be taken over by a Sicilian Gala, prepared by the renowned chef Pietro D’Agostino Yann Castano, chef at Oro e Argento.
The Oro e Argento restaurant opened in 1999 in the heart of the atrium of the Sofitel Luxembourg Europe. Thisbgourmet Italian restaurant has established itself and differentiates itself in the Grand Duchy. Today, this exceptional place, renowned for the quality and authenticity of its cuisine, continues to work as a sign of sophistication that can be found both in the decoration and on the plate.
The hotel has received both the label "Ospitalità Italiana" and the recognition of the Gault Millau with a score of 15/20.
Now, the Oro e Argento invites members of the public to discover a new side of Italy: Sicilian gastronomy.
For the occasion, its chef Yann Castano will be accompanied by starred chef Pietro d'Agostino. Having traveled and cooked in England, Costa Rica and also worked aboard the Disney Cruise Line, Pietro D'Agostino then settled in Italy. It is 31 years since he decided to open his own restaurant "La Capinera" (1 Michelin star). Each of the ingredients that arrive in dishes from "La Capinera" have been meticulously chosen, like those of the menu that we will propose at the Sicily Festival.
The winter Sicilian menu includes three pastas and risotto dishes, as well as a Surprise Menu of 6 courses
The Sicilian Gala menu costs €95, with reservations by tel: 4377-6870 or email: h1314-fb@sofitel.com
