The Luxembourg Chronicle is offering FREE tickets to the screening of Sanctuary that is being screened at the St Patrick's Week Film Days 2017, an extension of the British & Irish Film Season orgaised by G-Media sarl, that is taking place on Wednesday 15 March 2017 at 18:30 at the Cinèmathéque in Luxembourg city centre. "Sanctuary" (87 mins) had its world premier at last year's Galway Film Fleadh and supports diversity by showcasing the artistic talents of people with disabilities; it is directed by Len Collin who will attend the event to participate in a post-screening Q&A session.
Synopsis: A hilarious and heartbreaking comedy about two people who want to be together despite their world doing everything to keep them apart. Two members of a group of people with intellectual disabilities, Larrie and Sophie, slip out of a cinema during a group outing. This film was produced with the support of the Blue Teapot Company (www.blueteapot.ie) which supports people with disabilities by putting on stage productions in which they can showcase their talents.
Tickets cost €8.80 available online at www.bifilmseason.lu and at the venue prior to the screening (depending on availability).
