Luxembourg's annual travel fair, Vakanz, is being held this year at Luxexpo The Box in Luxembourg-Kirchberg from Friday 17 to Sunday 19 January.
An unmissable event in the Greater Region, Vakanz brings together more than 250 travel specialists over three days and all in one place. Thousands of destinations and packages will be offered over a 17,000m² exhibition area. Travel agencies, tour operators, family hotels and hotel chains, cruise lines, airlines, etc., will be on hand to present current trends, classic holidays and unusual destinations, with this year's event putting the spotlight on island destinations from around the world.
In addition, several competitions will take place during the fair with large prizes to be won, such as a week-long stay for two at the Robinson Club Apulia hotel, a trip to Dubai to discover the Universal Exhibition, a stay in Lisbon and many more. Other activities on the agenda this year include the chance to try out skimboarding, a traditional show by the Kuna people (a first in Luxembourg), the Vakanz Afterwork on Friday evening and entertainment and activities for children.
Entry costs €5. Free entry for children and individuals invited by one of the exhibitors.
