In the run-up to the European elections, Luxembourg is hosting a series of EU citizen's dialogues, featuring European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, Prime Minister Xavier Bettel and diplomat Georges Santer, among others.
The first EU citizens' dialogue for May 2019, organised by the Representation of the European Commission in Luxembourg, will see Xavier Bettel and Günter Oettinger, the European Commissioner in charge of the Budget and Human Resources, discuss democracy and nationalism ahead of the upcoming European elections.
This dialogue, held in German with simultaneous translations into English and French, will take place on Monday 6 May 2019 at 18:00 in Tramsschap (49 Rue Ermesinde) in Luxembourg-ville.
