The Ville de Luxembourg (VdL) is organising the 7th edition of its Board Games Day "Spill mat!" on 6 October 2018 at Place d'Armes in the capital, from 10:00-17:00.
Organised by the VdL's Centre for Educational and Leisure Activities (CAPEL), this coming Saturday will see the ground floor of the Cercle Cité and a part of the Place d'Armes transform once again into a large board games room.
Visitors, assisted by CAPEL educators, can reconnect with the pleasures of traditional board games and discover new ones, including many international award-winning games. These will include games with dice, cards, those requiring reflection or skill, puzzles and large wooden games, offering something for all tastes and ages.
Participation is free.
Also taking place on 6 October in Place d'Armes will be Handicap International's shoe pyramid to protest the use of mines and cluster bombs.
