Winterlights 2017: Stands Available at 2nd-hand Market, Winter Garage Sale
As part of the Winterlights 2017 initiative, the Ville de Luxembourg will organise a second-hand market on Saturday 2 December 2017 from 09:00 to 17:00 at the Victor Hugo Hall in Luxembourg-Limpertsberg, where toys, clothes and other objects for children (books, small items of furniture, etc.).
In addition, a winter garage sale (vide-grenier) will be organised on Sunday 3 December 2017, also from 09:00 to 17:00 at the same venue.
Registrations for both markets are open and there are only a few spots left.
The participation fee, amounting to €5 for a stand of 4m x 2.50m, must be paid in advance at time of registration with the Service des fêtes and markets (9 rue Chimay, Luxembourg-ville; Monday-Friday from 08:00 to 12:30 or by appointment). Only one stand space will be allocated per person, which will comprise one table and two benches offered by the Ville de Luxembourg.
Only private individuals who sell items from their own household can participate. Excluded from the sale are all items that are prohibited by Luxembourg law, the sale of animals and any sale of food or drink.
