Details: A two-days workshop on Histories and Practices of Multi-Channel Sound Reproduction will take place on Thursday 2 and Friday 3 February starting at 10.00, organised by the Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C2DH) of the University of Luxembourg.
This workshop has two objectives: First, it aims at contributing to the (still limited) historiography of stereophony. Second, the workshop wants to promote a hands-on approach in the study of sound (and other media) technologies.
Venue: The workshop will take place on Belval Campus, in the DH lab of Maison des Sciences Humaines (11 porte des Sciences, L-4366 Esch-sur-Alzette).
