Details: G-Media sarl is organising the 3rd annual DISCOVER LUXEMBOURG Electric Car Rally to take place on Sunday 25 September 2016 (POSTPONED from Sunday 29 May), under the Patronage of Luxembourg’s Minister of Sustainable Development and Infrastructure, Francois Bausch.
The DISCOVER LUXEMBOURG Electric Car Rally – together with its companion event the DISCOVER LUXEMBOURG (by foot) event which has been organised every September for the past eight years - enables participants to discover more about Luxembourg, specifically its culture, history, gastronomy and technology.
With the support of a number of vehicle manufacturers, the organisers will have a fleet of over 15 electric cars for participants to drive for the day, along a 100 km scenic course that will take in the Route du Vin. In addition, participants who would like to enter with their own electric or hybrid car, are also very welcome to do so.
The Electric Car Rally will start and finish at the headquarters of the ACL in Bertrange. Along the route will be a number of Event Stations at which the participating teams can win points by answering questions and participating in challenges.
The Electric Car Rally starts at 09:00 for participants, with the end scheduled for completion by 17:00.
This year, the event has the support of a number of Sponsors & Partners, including the ACL, La Baloise, Lux-Airport, Bernard-Massard, TOTAL Luxembourg, Cactus supermarkets and MONDORF Domaine Thermal.
