Details: A benefit Gospel concert is being organised on sunday 17 April 2016 at 19:00 at the Hope Centre (72 Rue Dernier Sol, L-2543 Luxembourg-Bonnevoie), featuring Huntley Brown, pianist from Chicago, USA, and the Cross Border Gospel Group from Trier.
Huntley Brown grew up in a Christian home on the island of Jamaica and migrated to the US where he earned a master's degree in piano performance. Huntley's music ministry has taken him all over the world, with TV, radio, and concert appearances in over 35 countries. In the United States, he has performed at churches of every size and denomination, from the east to the west coast. He was also the regular crusade pianist for the Billy Graham Association and now plays for Ruth Graham and Friends Ministries and also ministers with the Franklin Graham team. He was also the featured guest pianist at Carnegie Hall along with a gospel group in 2011. Huntley's playing has earned him numerous awards such as the Top Caribbean Gospel Instrumentalist Award for 2005 and 2006. He is an ordained minister and his prayer is that the glory of God will shine through his playing, and the Holy Spirit will draw people to the abundance of life in Christ. Huntley will share the stage with the Cross Border Gospel Group from Trier. Proceeds from the concert will go towards a school project in Burkina Faso.
