Details: Former Minister of Justice and Finance of Luxembourg, Luc Frieden, will be speaking at a British Chamber of Commerce lunch on Friday 22 April 2016 dedicated to the theme of European integration.

In 1994, Luc Frieden became the youngest member of the House when he was elected to Luxembourg's Chamber of Deputies for the CSV and became Minister of Justice four years later under then Prime Minister Jean-Claude Juncker. From 1998 to 2009 he served as Minister for the Treasury and Budget, becoming Minister of Finance in 2009. After finishing the latter post in 2013, he became Vice Chairman of Deutsche Bank in September 2014.

Luc Frieden will be speaking on the theme of "'Let Europe Arise' - Some Thoughts on the Future of European Integration". The event will open at 12:00 at La Table du Belvedere in Luxembourg-Kirchberg, with lunch planned for 12:30. Cancellations must be submitted in writing no later than 12:00 on Wednesday 20 April 2016, lest the individual in question be invoiced for the cost of the event.
