Details: The Culture section of the University of Luxembourg has announced that a Quidditch Workshop and Tournament are being organised on Friday 22 and Saturday 23 April 2016 at the Miami University Dolibois European Center in Differdange.
Quidditch is becoming an increasing popular real life sport; it is a contact sport, based on the game from the Harry Potter books, with players on broomsticks. As for dress code, just normal athletic wear is required for the students that wish to play. Cleats are recommended, and each student that plans on playing should bring a both black and a white shirt.
Quidditch is described as a mix between rugby, handball, water-polo and dodgeball. Each quidditch team comprises 7 members: 3 ball-handlers (Chasers), 2 Beaters (equippeed with Bludgers), 1 Keeper (goalie), a Snitch and a Seeker.
Quiddich is both fun to play and to watch!
