Details: The Committee of the Centre de Langue et de Culture chinoises du Luxembourg (CLCCL) has announced that it is celebrating its 5th anniversary with a week of Chinese cinema in Luxembourg taking place on 6, 7, 8 and 12 October at the Ciné Ermesinde de Mersch.
Programme:
Tuesday 6 October @ 17:30: Opening by the Chinese Ambassador to Luxembourg, followed at 18:00 with the screening of a documentary on the Chinese Economy, and at 19:00 the screening of Gua Sha – TheTreatment de Zheng Shaolong (in Chinese with French sub-titles). A drama (cultural intrigue) directed by Zheng Shaolong and starring Tony Liang (Jiahui), Jiang Wenli, Zhu Xu and Zhu Xiaoqian.
Wednesday 7 October @ 18:30: the screening of Da Bin Xiao Jiang - Little Big Soldier de Ding Sheng (in Chinese with English sub-titles). A war film directed by Ding Sheng and starring Jackie Chan, Leehom Wang and Yoo Seung-Jun.
Thursday 8 October @ 18:30: the screening of Mo Li Hua Kai – Jasmine Women de Hou Yong (in Chinese with German sub-titles). A love story directed by Hou Yong and starring Zhang Ziyi, Chen Chong, Jiang Wen, Lu Yi and Liu Ye.
Monday 12 October @ 18:00: the screening of Qian Li Zou Dan Qi - Riding Alone for Thousands of Miles de Zhang YiMou (in Chinese with German sub-titles). A spiritual drama directed by Zhang Yimou and starring Takatura Ken, Li Jiamin, Jiang Wen, Qiu Lin and Yang Zhenbo.
