Details: Rockhal has announced that Slash, featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators, will perform in Esch-Belval on Wednesday 17 June 2015, with doors opening at 19:00.
Few artists in rock ‘n’ roll can carry off a single name, and carry it with gravitas. But this is definitely the case for Slash! Being considered as one of the greatest Original members of the iconic rock band Guns N’ Roses, the award-winning Slash is back on tour with his band Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators. After their US-Tour in spring, the band will be back at the Rockhal on 17 June.
Time magazine recently named Slash #2, behind Jimi Hendrix, on its “Ten Best Electric Guitar Players of All-Time” list. Slash helped create signature sounds like the guitar riff on #1 hits for Guns N’ Roses “Sweet Child o’ Mine” and “Welcome To The Jungle.” After leaving the band, he went on to critical acclaim with Slash’s Snakepit and global success with the supergroup Velvet Revolver before embarking on his own solo career.
With his new band Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators, he released the critically acclaimed “Apocalyptic Love” (2012) which stormed the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart debuting at #4 as the top rock album. “Apocalyptic Love” spawns Slash’s first-ever #1 rock radio solo hits: “You’re A Lie” and “Standing In The Sun.” In 2013, Slash released “Nothing Left To Fear” the first-ever motion picture he co-produced from Slasher Films, his film/TV production company specializing in the horror genre. He is currently working on a new film project.
Slash and his band unleashed their current album “World on Fire” to worldwide praise garnering Slash some of the best critical acclaim of his career from the media. This work is his 3rd solo album to climb straight into the Top Ten. The album’s title track and first single “World On Fire” ascended to #1 at U.S. Rock Radio. “World on Fire” is Slash’s third solo offering and second album with his official band The Conspirators which features Myles Kennedy (vocals), Brent Fitz (drums) and Todd Kerns (bass).
Wednesday 17 June will certainly be a day to remember, when Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy and The Conspirators will set the Rockhal stage on fire!
