Details: Renowned film composer and conductor, Ennio Morricone, has announced that, following almost a year of recovering from a spinal injury, he will resume his European arena tour, “My Life in Music”, on 1 February 2015, and will stop in Luxembourg on Tuesday, 24 March at the Coque in Kirchberg.

Morricone thanked his audiences for their loyalty and patience, amid numerous cancellations and postponements of his concerts over the last year, highlighted his excitement for being back to full health on the live stage, and promised that as well as his best-known material, the upcoming tour will also include a few interesting surprises.

The conductor has composed over 500 cinematic and television scores and is the only film composer ever to receive the honorary lifetime achievement Academy Award. His most well-renowned work include the scores for “Once Upon a Time in the West”, “Once Upon a Time in America”, “A Fistful of Dollars”, “The Untouchables”, “The Mission”, “Cinema Paradiso”, “The Best Offer”, among many others. However, his most recognisable work is his musical score for “The Good, The Bad and the Ugly”, which holds the number two position in the Top 200 rankings for the all-time best film soundtracks.

The tour will begin in Amsterdam and will stop in twenty major European cities and tickets purchased for rescheduled dates remain valid.
