Details: The Luxembourg Association for the Study of Right to Competition (ALEDC), along with the Union of Luxembourg Enterprises (UEL) and LARCIER, are organising the first ever Luxembourg Competition Day, which will take place on Tuesday 9 December from 13:30 to 18:00 at the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce in Luxembourg-Kirchberg.
ALEDC has found that in the last ten years, since the first passing of the first modern law relative to business competition by the Competition Council, Luxembourg is still behind in terms of a culture of competition. Moreover, many economic players are ignoring it outright.
Therefore, ALEDC wants to help educating, training and making Luxembourg’s economic players fully aware to the right of competition in its greater sense. The 1st edition of Luxembourg Competition Day is a first step in this direction.
During the afternoon, companies will be updated on the local and European legislative developments regarding competition and will be able to attend succinct presentations that are illustrated with concrete examples by experienced lawyers and judicial advisors. There will be an opportunity for questions, as well as a networking cocktail following the event from 18:00 to 20:00.
