Details: SantaCon will return to Luxembourg on Saturday 13 December 2014;SantaCon takes place in over 280 locations in 41 countries worldwide.
Details have still to be confirmed, but in 2013 the group started from the Place de la Constituion and visited various drinking establishments throughout the afternoon and evening, moving from the upper old city down to the Grund and Clausen.
At the Place d'Armes and the Christmas market there, they were taken for Caol Singers in costume and willingly obliged with a reddition of Jingle Bells, before they ran out of verses...
The origins of the Santacon were to raise money for charity, with the pubs and bars frequented putting aside a portion of their takings from the "Santas" to a charitable cause.
