Details: As part of the Aktioun Bambësch, the Pedagogic and Leisure Centre of the Ville de Luxembourg (CAPEL) is organising the traditional "Kanner in the City" festival games on Friday, 25 July, from 14:00 to 18:00 and on Saturday, 26 July from 15:30 to 18:30 on Place Guillaume II, Place d'Armes and adjacent streets; this celebration is also part of the LCTO's "Summer in the City" programme.
The festival, which reflects the commitment of the City for children and families, focuses this year on the theme "World Games". Children can participate in traditional games from across five continents, offered to them by the young leaders of the "Aktioun Bambësch" and by "Spielmobile" professionals from Germany, France and Italy, as well as the Dadafonic and CITIM associations. Board games, water games and sand, large wooden games, dance, songs and "Willy the Whale" will be awaiting children in downtown Luxembourg for two afternoons of joy and discovery.
